The importance of connection
Have you ever thought about your purpose? Why the hell you are on this earth!? It’s all busy, busy, busy and then you sit down and think about it to find that you don’t know where the heck you are going with your life’s journey.
What I have found lately and think is one of the most important ways to get you back on the right path is to connect with those that get you – friends, family, neighbours. There are people you have a deep and revitalising conversation with and come out feeling a bit more alive again. Yes – it’s true! These people are the connection that give you a boost. It’s a natural red bull I say without the calories of course.
I was having a conversation with my best friend, Michelle and I realised no matter how far and wide we are from each other, (for the past 4 years it has been a lovely ocean called the Atlantic) we catch up in the usual way. The conversation flies by and then we somehow get into a reflection of who we are and what we believe in. It’s almost like a subconscious thing that we connect on because we are passionate about creating our purpose for living.
So never forget about how important connection is in your life. It keeps the web of life in check. Your connections should believe in you as much as you believe in them.
